The atmosphere in our room is relaxed and friendly. Visitors are made to feel welcome without feeling singled out.
Here is what a typical Sunday looks like:
- Meet & Eat - visit with friends, meet new people, grab a plate and head through the breakfast/snack line
- Announcements - have a seat and hear all about our church and class upcoming events
- Prayer Time - if anyone shares any major news (pregnancy, adoption, calling, etc), we gather around them for a time of group prayer
- Teaching - our lessons are always biblically based, and we offer in-depth studies of a book of the Bible or topical studies (marriage, family, finances, etc).
- Team Time - lastly, we break into small groups (teams) to share prayer requests, praises or updates about what's going on in each other's life. This is what allows our "big church" to get really small and intimate.
We are done at 12 noon, at which time many folks choose to go to lunch together... we just can't get enough of each other!
